Due to the close proximity to our lively new bar and lounge, The FIFTH, any room located in the new building (which includes suites, luxury, and luxury view rooms) are subject to additional noise from events hosted by The FIFTH. To ensure that our guests are able to get a rejuvenating night's rest, most nights these events will finish at 23:00 or earlier. On weekends, the entertainment can go a bit later, ending at 0:00. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

今年適逢海軍陸戰隊建軍70周年，陸戰隊指揮部除在高雄忠誠營區舉辦成軍70周年隊慶外，軍方媒體軍聞社特別剪輯50年代海軍陸戰隊兩棲偵察隊的訓練畫面，官兵以「一日陸戰隊，終身陸戰隊」的精神標竿為傲，信守「永遠忠誠」的隊訓永誌不渝，感謝每一位陸戰隊前輩的辛勤奉獻與付出。
海軍表示，陸戰官兵秉持「不怕苦」、「不怕難」、「不怕死」的「三不怕」精神，捍衛中華民國，勤訓精練，勇猛驃悍的精實戰力形象，深烙國人心中。
海軍陸戰隊兩棲偵察隊又稱為蛙人部隊或中華民國陸戰蛙人，隸屬於陸戰隊指揮部。根據軍聞社影片顯示，要成為蛙人每一名參訓學員得先後接受長跑、長泳、頂艇行軍、夜間操舟、沙灘競技、水上競技，及偽裝滲透等各項專業訓練課目。每一期的集訓隊都必須通過「綜合考驗周」（又俗稱為「克難周」）把所有課目操練完畢，內容包含夜間25公里長跑、夜間操舟、頂艇行軍、水上求生與救生、潛泳100公尺、海上長泳等多項綜合驗收。
「天堂路」則是成為蛙人前的最後考驗，這條由咕咾石鋪成、長度為50公尺的道路，透過石頭的稜稜角角與絕對的服從性，考驗學員的滾、爬、翻、匍匐前進等技巧及蛙操動作。必須完成「天堂路」後，才能領到榮譽臂章，成為兩棲蛙人。
2016年5月，民進黨立委陳亭妃在立院外交及國防委員會質詢時，質疑國防部發言人臉書專頁上放海軍陸戰隊蛙人「克難周」的訓練照片，太過殘忍會影響募兵成效。不過，這番質詢反而遭到退役陸戰隊軍人圍剿，遭批不專業、汙辱陸戰隊精神。
